History
Shin-Shing High School was founded by Mr. Chaou-Jiung Wei in 1971 as a vocational high school in Pa-te City,
Taiwan. In April 1971, the school began with 274 students. By the fall
of 1998, it has general high school, comprehensive school and vocational
school that includes 15 majors. Classes number is up to 118 and student
enrollment has nearly reached to the number of 8700 students.
New programs were added in response to market
changes and demands. In the fall of 1971, the school initiated four
departments. Between 1971 and 1986, another ten departments in both
technical and commercial fields were established. In 1980, the school
merged with two new-formed departments, Aviation Electronics and
Aircraft Maintenance, which are with well-established workshops under
FAA rules. In 1980, the general high school division, a college
preparatory school division was added. Then, in 1998, a
comprehensive high school division was established. |
