Science & Technology Building
With an attempt to facilitate and promote both teaching and
research programs in our school, we spend considerable sum of money
constructing the " Science & Technology Building"- a ten-story building
with an area of 5800 Ping ( 208,,800 square feet ). In order to strike a
beautiful balance between science and the humanities, the main functions
and facilities of this unique building are aimed as follows:
It's the first ten-story reinforced
bar concrete building in the educational circles of Taoyuan, which is
noted for its all fire-resistant building materials and
all-computerized facilities.
With ten most up-to-date computer
classroom and two audio-video language laboratories.
A standardized international
conference room which can accommodate 250 people, with a microphone,
an equipment for surfing Internet and providing simultaneous
interpretation in each seat.
A multi-functional, spacious
conference room which can accommodate 1400 people. It serves as a
conference room, an exhibition hall for students' achievements both in
academy and extracurricular activities.
A well-equipped, computerized room
for remote lecturing ( teaching ) and remote communications.
A language lab with terraced-seats
which can accommodate 120 people and serves also as a seminar room.
A classroom with all kitchen
utensils and facilities for students to master Chinese and western
cuisine. Five hotel suites with the standard of a five-star restaurant
for students to practice and learn all hotel manners from A to Z.
A discovery caf provides teachers
and students with surfing web and recreations.
Two standard laboratories for
physics and biology.
A Research & Development Department
And a Multi-media Center.
A large room for group counseling,
which functions as a multi-purpose classroom for students' counseling,
group discussion or video-viewing activities.
The Office of the Dean of Studies
and the Guidance Office are on the ground floor.
With professional and well-trained staff working together, we try
everything we can to help and guide our students in all aspects of
life.
